Bardonecchia, the resort at the end of the motorway
Bardonecchia is the easiest ski resort to reach from Turin: 104 km from Caselle Airport with the A32 motorway running practically into the village, for a drive of about 1h15 with no demanding hairpins. The Colomion, Campo Smith and Jafferau slopes start minutes from the centre.

The train exists: when the transfer wins
Bardonecchia is one of the few Alpine resorts with a railway station in the village: the SFM3 from Turin Porta Nuova takes about 1h20. If you travel light in daytime, the train is an honest option.
