Sestriere is 111 km from Turin-Caselle Airport, about 1h30 by road: the A32 Susa Valley motorway to Oulx, then the climb to the 2,035-metre pass. It is the gateway to the Via Lattea: 400 km of slopes across Sestriere, Sansicario, Cesana, Claviere and Montgenèvre.

Getting to Sestriere without a car
By public transport: SFM3 train from Turin to Oulx (about 1h10), then local bus 285 to Cesana and Sestriere (about 40 minutes). From the airport you first need to reach the station in the city. That is 2h30-3h30 in total with two changes, handling skis and suitcases at every step. The private transfer leaves straight from the terminal, arrives in about 1h30 at your door, and the price is per vehicle: split between 3-8 passengers the per-head cost drops fast. Updated July 2026.
