Turin to Cervinia: 121 km to the foot of the Matterhorn
Breuil-Cervinia is 121 km from Turin-Caselle Airport: the A5 motorway to Châtillon, then the Valtournenche climb up to the village at 2,050 metres. In normal conditions the drive takes about 1h40; on snowy days and peak Saturdays allow a little extra.
The transfer is private: your driver meets you in the arrivals hall with a name sign, loads skis and luggage and takes you to the door of your hotel or residence, including Valtournenche and the hamlets. For the return we track your flight time and agree the pickup hour with a safe margin.

Turin to Cervinia: your options compared
Without a private car there are two realistic options. Train + bus: regional train from Turin to Châtillon/Saint-Vincent (about 1h30, from around 10 euro), then the local bus up to Breuil-Cervinia (about 50 minutes, 3.30 euro): it works, but with skis and suitcases it means two changes and 3-4 hours in total, and from the airport you first have to get into the city. Private transfer: door to door in about 1h40 from the airport, fixed price per vehicle, skis in the boot and no changes: for families and groups of 3 or more the per-person cost often comes close to public transport. There is no direct public connection from the airport to Cervinia. Updated July 2026.
